Movie Theatre--across from hotel--always has the latest movies!

Knuckles Sports Bar--inside hotel--A great place to meet for drinks, socialize and watch the latest sports team on flatscreen TVs.

Teatro Zinzanni--On Thursday evening, November 4th, please join the bride and groom for a great time and a great San Francisco experience! Enjoy an evening of fine dining and entertainment at Teatro Zinzanni, a unique blend of cabaret, comedy, music and mayhem. The cocktail hour begins at 6pm. Show starts at 7pm. Tickets are $100 and include a fabulous 5 course meal. If you're interested in purchasing tickets and joining us for a wonderful evening, let us know. This show is always sold out, so we must have your RSVP (and payment) by October 1st. This show is not for children, the shy or the easily offended. Teatro Zinzanni is located at Pier 29 --Embarcadero & Battery in San Francisco.

Hospitality Suite--On Friday evening, November 5th, we will host a hospitality suite at the hotel, complete with food, beverages, music, cards, dominoes, and anything your heart desires (well almost).

Benihana--1 block away--Benihana serves the freshest steak, chicken and seafood in the most entertaining way! Come witness what has become the longest running dinner show in the world. Don’t forget to call ahead, reservations are recommended. $25-$40

Elephant Bar--3 blocks away--They'll take you on a taste safari through exotic destinations to find “elephant size” portions of fresh culinary delights (A favorite!). $15-$20

El Torito-- 3 blocks away--great tasting Mexican food. $15-$20.

SHOPPING:

Burlingame Avenue--Hotel guests may phone (650) 333-4854 to be picked up by free shuttle (a 5 minute ride). Click on the following website for shuttle schedule, http://www.commute.org/shuttle_burlingame_free.htm. You'll find many shops such as Banana Republic, The Gap, Ann Taylor, Potterybarn, the Apple Store and many more along Burlingame Avenue. There are also many restaurants such as the Crepevine, Stacks and IL Fornio. Note that the Burlingame Shuttle can also take you to the BART station.


Downtown San Francisco:

If you don't have a car and want to visit downtown San Francisco, catch the hotel shuttle to the BART station. Take BART to the Powell Street exit. You can shop at the San Francisco Center (home of Nordstrom's) or shop in Union Square (home of Sak's 5th Avenue, Tiffany, William-Sonoma and Macy's). There are many restaurants including the Cheesecake Factory (in Macy's), Scala's on Powell Street (known for their calamari), Farallon on Post Street (an engagement favorite!) and Blonde's Pizza (a $2 classic!). All are within walking distance from the Powell Street BART station.


Other San Francisco Bay Area Attractions (car recommended):

The Palace of Fine Arts (pictured above), the Golden Gate bridge, Alcatraz, Cable Cars, Napa wine country to the North; Monterey and Carmel to the South. The San Francisco Bay Area is one of the world's most famous travel destinations. Sunday would be a great day to take in the sites!
